When you are in Darwin be sure to make time to visit Crocosaurus Cove, located right in the heart of Darwin's Central Business District, on the corner of Mitchell and Peel Street. Enter the world of the awesome Northern Territory Saltwater Crocodile, the largest on display anywhere in the world. You can choose to "swim with the Crocs", watch the jumping croc feeding and relax and enjoy breakfast or lunch at this iconic attraction. There are over 50 Northern Australian Reptiles on display, a turtle sanctuary, Aboriginal Artists at work and displays of Aboriginal Culture. Allow 1.5 hours to make the most of your visit to Crocosaurus Cove - where everything Crocodilian is on display.

Immerse yourself in the environment of Australia’s most mesmerizing apex predator, the saltwater crocodile. Experience the ultimate face-to-face encounter as you are carefully lowered in to the water with a 5 metre saltwater crocodile for 15 minutes. Take in his intimidating gaze, feel the sheer power of his 3 tonne bite force, and learn to appreciate his true strength and resilience as a modern-day dinosaur. The Cage of Death activity offers swimmers the opportunity to get up close and personal with the saltwater crocodiles in a controlled environment that is safe and enriching for both the crocodile and the visitor. Regular feeding throughout the experience is done in a way that encourages the crocodile’s natural instincts, giving swimmers the opportunity to witness the saltie’s infamous bite force under the supervision of trained handlers. Times: 9.30am, 10.00am, 10.30am; 12noon, 12.30pm, 1.00pm, 1.30pm, 3.00pm, 3.30pm, 4.00pm, 4.30pm, 5.00pm Cage of Death dive time/s should be requested at the time of enquiry and will be confirmed within 24hours of request. 1. Minimum age of participants is 15 years 2. Persons between the ages of 15-17 years must be accompanied by an adult/person over 18yrs and show photo ID 3. Participants must arrive 30 minutes prior to confirmed time for safety briefing. 4. Participants will be required to sign an indemnity release form at Crocosaurus Cove prior to dive time. Participants between the ages of 15-17 must have parental consent and indemnity signed by a parent 5. All times are subject to change due to weather conditions and guest safety.
